For companies

Sustainable team retreats in Bali, run end-to-end by people who actually live here.

Ten years of running tours in Bali, one formal sustainability partnership with BWMTC, and a single team handling logistics , so your People or HR team can focus on the outcome, not the itinerary.

Why Bali Eco Journeys

Credibility built on practice, not on marketing.

We're a small, Bali-based operator. What we offer companies is straightforward: a genuine sustainability practice, real local relationships, and a team that takes logistics off your plate.

Sustainability we actually practice

Our itineraries are built with BWMTC (Bali Waste Management Training Centre), a formal local partnership focused on waste management training, composting, and village-led programs. Not a logo on a slide.

Ten years of local relationships

A decade of running tours across Bali means we work with village councils, farmers, and guides directly. Your team gets access to places and people that don't appear on a booking platform.

End-to-end logistics

One point of contact, one proposal, one on-the-ground team. Transport, accommodation, meals, guides, and program flow are all coordinated so HR/People teams aren't project-managing from another timezone.

What we run

Three distinct formats. One consistent standard.

Each format can be anchored around our existing experiences, the Penglipuran Village, Foraging Tour, Rice Planting, or Mangrove Tour, or built fully custom for your team.

Multi-day

Team Retreats

Immersive multi-day programs focused on connection, trust, and shared experience away from the office.

  • Typically 3–7 days, mixed accommodation styles (villa, boutique hotel, or eco-lodge)
  • Balance of shared experiences, unstructured time, and optional deeper immersions
  • Well-suited to leadership teams, cross-functional groups, and post-merger integration

How we build it

Often anchored around one of our signature experiences, a village day, a rice-planting morning, or a foraging session, with the rest custom-built to your team.

Work + experience

Offsites

Structured gatherings that combine real working sessions with meaningful local experiences, not a conference room with palm trees outside.

  • Dedicated working spaces with reliable connectivity and A/V, scheduled around the day
  • Facilitation-friendly venues for planning, product sprints, or all-hands sessions
  • Half-day cultural or nature experiences woven between working blocks

How we build it

We plan around your agenda first. Experiences slot into free afternoons or a dedicated day, so the offsite still delivers on its work objectives.

Impact-led

CSR / Impact Days

Shorter, purpose-driven experiences tied directly to real sustainability and community work, reportable against your CSR or ESG commitments.

  • One to two days, designed for larger groups or regional offices already in Bali
  • Hands-on components: waste separation and composting, tree planting, village conservation projects
  • Debrief and documentation so the impact is legible internally and externally

How we build it

Built on our existing programs: Penglipuran Village, Foraging Tour, Rice Planting, Mangrove Tour, or scoped as a fully custom impact day with BWMTC.

How it works

Four steps from first email to on-the-ground retreat.

Designed to be legible to internal stakeholders. Screenshot this section, forward it, and it should answer most of the questions your team will have.

A tailored itinerary with day-by-day flow, accommodation options, transparent pricing, and named local partners. Iterate until it fits.

    1–2 weeks

  4. 04

    Retreat

We run logistics end-to-end on the ground, transfers, guides, meals, program flow. Your team focuses on the experience, not the operations.

Sustainability & partnership

A retreat with actual impact, not a scenic backdrop for a sustainability slide.

BWMTC is our formal, ongoing sustainability partner. It's a local Indonesian foundation, not a certification we bought. Working with them means:

  • Community and ecological programs your retreat directly supports, waste management training, tree planting, village conservation.
  • Access to on-the-ground practitioners for CSR days, briefings, and post-retreat impact summaries you can share internally.
  • Transparent reporting on what your retreat contributed, useful for CSR, ESG, and internal communications.

Start a brief

Tell us about your team.

The more you share, the more useful our first reply. Not sure yet on dates or budget? Leave the fields you're unsure about, we'll work through them on the consultation call.

  • Reply within 3 business days.
  • No obligation, a first proposal is free.
  • Your details stay with our team; we don't share or resell them.
